Introduction
WAFRA is committed to providing reliable domain and server services while protecting customer rights in accordance with the Telecommunications Consumer Protection Policy issued by Qatar’s Communications Regulatory Authority (CRA). This Policy forms part of our Terms of Service.
1. Domains
- Registration and renewal fees are non-refundable once payment is completed, except as stated below.
- Technical failure refund: If payment is captured but registry registration, transfer, or extend fails due to a WAFRA or registry technical failure, you are entitled to a full Tap refund (or an alternative domain of equal value if offered).
- Registry success: If the registry succeeds and only a local follow-up fails, there is no refund — you own the domain at the registry.
2. Hosting & servers
- Provision failure: Full refund if WAFRA cannot activate the service.
- Activated service: Non-refundable. There is no unused-days or pro-rata cash refund on cancel.
- Dedicated setup fee: Non-refundable one-time fee.
- Non-payment: A 7-day grace applies; paying within grace restores service where still possible. After permanent delete, no restoration.
3. Additional services
SSL certificates, CDN, security solutions, email, and other add-ons are non-refundable once activated, unless activation failed due to a technical issue from WAFRA.
4. Explicit exclusions
- There is no 30-day money-back guarantee.
- There are no partial unused-period cash refunds.
5. Technical issues & compensation
- If disruption is caused by a WAFRA technical fault, we work to resolve it promptly.
- Compensation may be issued as discretionary Credit Days for WAFRA-caused disruption. Credit Days are not a cash wallet.
6. Refund process
- Approved refunds use the same payment method where possible.
- Processing typically takes 5–10 business days from approval.
7. Complaints
- Submit complaints to WAFRA regarding any service issue.
- If unresolved, you may escalate to the Communications Regulatory Authority (CRA) according to official procedures.
